Your wallet may request two authorizations per token before the deposit: each token to Permit2, then each token to the Position Manager. New allowances use the displayed spending limits; Position Manager authorization expires after 20 minutes. Existing larger allowances are not reduced. An existing allowance may need a separate reset transaction. Approvals remain onchain even if you cancel the deposit.
